Ghanaian boxer Theophilus Allotey has successfully concluded his “KO Teenage Pregnancy” campaign with a final outreach event at Bishop Mixed School, engaging final-year students in an impactful educational session.

The initiative, aimed at raising awareness about teenage pregnancy and empowering young people, saw the champion share his personal journey in boxing, using his experiences to inspire discipline, resilience, and focus among the students. Allotey emphasized that success is achievable through consistency and commitment, urging the youth to make informed life choices.

The session ended with the distribution of exercise books to students, each branded with the campaign’s message: “Let’s join hands to KO teenage pregnancy,” reinforcing the importance of collective action in addressing the issue.

The programme was supported by key contributors including Coach Asare, Sarah, Henry, and Bright, whose efforts ensured its success. Special appreciation was also extended to Mr. Ntiamoah for facilitating the engagement, as well as the staff and students at Bishop Mixed School for their warm reception and active participation.

Allotey’s campaign forms part of a broader effort to use sports as a tool for social change, particularly in promoting youth development and responsible decision-making across Ghana.
