Ghanaian music stars Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have joined key government officials for the official launch of the Ghana World Cup Fundraising Raffle Draw.

The event brought together the Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, and Deputy Finance Minister Thomas Ampem Nyarko, highlighting a collaborative effort between the entertainment industry and government to support Ghana’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The fundraising initiative is aimed at mobilizing financial support for the Black Stars as they gear up for the global showpiece, which will be hosted in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The presence of Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale added star power to the launch, underscoring the role of influential public figures in driving national campaigns and fan engagement.

Officials emphasized the importance of collective support in ensuring the team is well-resourced ahead of the tournament. The raffle is expected to attract widespread participation from fans and corporate bodies, contributing to Ghana’s broader World Cup preparations.

The initiative marks a significant step in uniting sports, entertainment, and government toward a common national goal.
