International Relations Manager of Aduana FC, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, has expressed confidence in the team’s chances ahead of their MTN FA Cup quarter-final clash against Techiman Liberty.

The ‘Ogya’ lads head into the fixture with high hopes as they continue their push for silverware this season. Aduana are also enjoying a strong campaign in the Ghana Premier League, where they currently sit third on the table with 41 points after 25 matches, five behind leaders Medeama SC.

Speaking ahead of the encounter, the former Udinese Calcio midfielder believes the title race is still open with several matches left to play.

“In the league, we are third on the log, and Medeama are leading us by five points with nine matches to go. With 27 points to play for, anything can happen.”

Agyemang-Badu added that the team remains focused on taking each match step by step as they prepare for the FA Cup tie.

“We are concentrating on taking it match after match. We are preparing for the FA Cup, and we will see what will happen.”

He further stated that a good run in the competition would mean a lot to the club and its supporters.

“A successful run in the competition would bring joy to the club’s hierarchy and fans alike. It will bring happiness if, after the season, we can finish in a respectable position.”

The FA Cup quarter-final encounter between Aduana FC and Techiman Liberty is scheduled to kickoff at 15:00GMT (3:00pm) later today.
