Medeama SC have confirmed that striker Abdul Rahman Mohammed has joined Ethiopian outfit Arba Minch Kenema on a loan deal until the end of the ongoing season
The forward only joined the Mauve and Yellows earlier this year during the second transfer window as a free agent after the expiration of his contract with TRA United SC.
Prior to his move to Tanzania, Abdul Rahaman Mohammed made his mark in the Ghana Premier League with Nsoatreman FC, where he was part of the squad that secured the club’s historic 2024 MTN FA Cup triumph.
However, the 26-year-old has struggled for regular playing time since arriving at the TnA Stadium, prompting the club to approve a temporary move aimed at helping him gain more competitive minutes.
Medeama believe the loan spell in Ethiopia will provide the attacker with the opportunity to rediscover his rhythm and continue his development at a crucial stage of his career.
The Tarkwa-based club has also wished the striker well during his stay abroad, expressing confidence that the experience will benefit both the player and the club in the long run.
Medeama SC are currently winless in their last four matches in the league but their lead is still intact with 46 points and are now just a point above second-place Bibiani GoldStars
Ibrahim Tanko’s will be very determined more than ever to halt their recent appalling winless run when they host Hohoe United on Sunday, March 8.
