The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has announced new minimum price levels for petroleum products for the first pricing window of March 2026, effective 1–15 March.
Under the revised price floor, petrol will increase from GHS 10.24 in the 16 February window to GHS 10.46 per litre, while diesel rises from GH¢11.34 to GH¢11.42.
Conversely, LPG sees a marginal decrease to GH¢9.38 per kilogram from GH¢9.43.
The new thresholds mean no Oil Marketing Company (OMC) or LPG Marketing Company (LPGMC) is permitted to sell below the approved floors during this period.
Companies currently selling below these levels must adjust pump prices upward to comply.
