Citizen Ato Dadzie, the General Secretary of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), has called for the development of a comprehensive national plan to address Ghana’s growing transport crisis.

Speaking in an interview with Original TV, Ato Dadzie emphasized the urgent need for a coordinated and strategic approach to reform the country’s transport system. According to him, Ghana’s transportation challenges require a united national effort that goes beyond political differences.

“We must have a national plan to solve the transport crisis in Ghana,” he stated.

“We must have a national plan to solve the transport crisis in Ghana,” he stated.

Citizen Ato Dadzie stressed that political bias must be set aside to achieve meaningful improvements in the sector. He noted that the transport crisis affects all Ghanaians, regardless of political affiliation, and therefore demands a collective solution.

He further explained that without bipartisan cooperation and long-term planning, efforts to modernize and streamline Ghana’s transport infrastructure may fall short.

The GCPP General Secretary highlighted the importance of creating policies that focus on sustainability, efficiency, and accessibility. He believes a national transport plan should address road infrastructure, public transport modernization, traffic congestion, and regulatory enforcement.

According to him, collaboration among government agencies, transport unions, policymakers, and citizens is key to achieving a reliable and efficient transport system.
