The CEO of Akwaaba UK, Mr. Dennis, has made a shocking revelation about his regrets as a promoter and event manager.

In a recent interview on Konnected Minds, Akwaaba UK admitted that his biggest regret was not booking Africa’s highlife giant Bisa Kdei for a bigger venue in the UK.

According to Mr. Dennis, who has, over the years, worked with a series of top musicians including Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Daddy Lumba, etc., the demand from fans to see the “Mansa”, Asew”, “Brother Brother” and “Mon Bebe” hitmaker was overwhelming.

Akwaaba UK admitted that over the years, as an international event manager, he never sold tickets as fast as Bisa Kdei’s tickets, and believes, looking at the turn up for Bisa Kdei, he could have easily filled the venue for two consecutive nights, yet he did for only one.

Bisa Kdei, who is currently regarded as one of Africa’s highlife giants, has proven that his music travels far beyond Ghana, making huge impacts in the international markets for more than a decade.

He is currently promoting his French single “Mon Bébé,” which has captured the hearts of many francophone fans and music lovers.
