A Nigerian lady’s facial skin became severely irritated after using a skincare product touted as a miracle solution on TikTok.
Based on the product’s popularity on TikTok, @reallyher001 posted a video selfie of her immaculate face before the dramatic makeover after using the skincare product.
Another video shows @reallyher001 with severe face discomfort, including dark patches, acne, and skin discoloration, as a result of using the skincare product promoted on TikTok.
The lady’s unfortunate experience revealed that TikTok’s skincare hype does not guarantee safety or effectiveness.
Since the product’s effectiveness varies depending on skin type, users speculated that the lady may be allergic to the skin-enhancing ingredient.
