During the unveiling ceremony held at the Accra Sports Stadium Press Center on February 26, 2026, Mustapha Nettey, the Treasurer of the GBF, explained that the design embodies the values of the nation and the boxing fraternity.

He emphasised that the logo represents the future growth of boxing and the nurturing of talents to make Ghana proud.

“Ghana in green signifies the growth of this nation and of boxing in the country as well. The bold black ‘Boxing’ represents our pride and the love we have for the sport. ‘Federation’ in red means the GBA is vibrant and looking forward to growing and making Ghana proud.
