Ghanaian songstress Mzbel has cautioned Ghanaians to be mindful of the people within their inner circles, warning that not everyone who appears supportive has genuine intentions.

In a Facebook post, the singer advised her followers on social media to be cautious of their conversations and personal space, noting that some people pretend to be friends only to betray trust.

“Not everyone who smiles with you is for you. Some come disguised as friends, pulling you into ‘harmless’ conversations, only to record you and use it against you,” she wrote.

“Protect your space. Protect your words. Choose your circle wisely,” she added.

I’ve given up on friendships – Mzbel asserts

In an earlier interview, the artiste had revealed that she had given up on friendships, recounting how past experiences of betrayal had led her to withdraw from trusting others.

The singer stated that although she remains cordial and friendly, she now limits her interactions to meaningful and important discussions, avoiding casual conversations.
