Hearts of Oak will welcome Berekum Chelsea to the University of Ghana Stadium in a highly anticipated match-week 23 clash of the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians head into the encounter with renewed confidence after a remarkable win in the Super-Clash last weekend.

Hearts secured a precious 0-1 away victory over rivals Asante Kotoko with ten men thanks to Baba Adamu’s powerful 14th-minute header.

They remain unbeaten at the Legon Stadium this season and incredibly are yet to concede a goal there in five outings.

The Accra giants sit second on the league table with 39 points, five behind the top spot, and will be looking to maintain their strong home form to keep the pressure on the leaders.

However, they may be without striker Hamza Issah, who is doubtful for the fixture, while Emmanuel Amankwah misses out due to suspension.

However, Berekum Chelsea returned to winning path with a hard-fought 2-1 home triumph over Heart of Lions, courtesy goals from Prince Anane and Jonah Attuquaye.

The Bibires occupy 8th position on the log with 30 points after 22 matches and head into this tie with no injury concerns from their previous game.

However, they face a tough task, having gone winless against Hearts of Oak in the league since 2019.

With both sides eager to build momentum at this crucial stage of the season, fans can expect a tight and competitive encounter at the Legon Stadium.
