In the highly anticipated Ghana Women’s FA Cup quarter final fixture, Hasaacas Ladies edged out Ampem Darkoa Ladies with a 2-1 victory to progress in the competition.

The tight contest was decided by Grace Ntsiful’s goal in the 35th minute, as Hasaacas applied pressure throughout to secure the narrow win, showcasing resilience and tactical discipline in a match that reignited one of Ghana’s premier women’s football rivalries.

However, Ampem Darkoa had taken the lead earlier on through Linda Owusu Ansah before Abiba Issah equalized for the Dooo ladies in the 33rd minute

Both teams came into the tie with impressive form; Hasaacas had advanced to the quarterfinals after a convincing win in the Round of 16, while Ampem Darkoa looked to build on their strong league campaign. Ampem Darkoa fought hard in the second half but were unable to find an equalizer against a compact Hasaacas defence, with the decisive moment coming from coordinated attacking play.

The result not only sends Hasaacas through to the next round but also adds fresh intrigue to the Women’s FA Cup, where margins remain razor-thin and competition fierce.
