The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku has called on the Ghana Police Service to sustain its support for the judicial process to ensure a timely and transparent resolution of matters related to football safety.

He stressed that safeguarding lives at match venues remains a shared responsibility between the Football Association and law enforcement agencies, urging continued collaboration to maintain order and protect supporters.

In response, the Inspector-General of Police assured the FA of the Police Service’s unwavering commitment to maintaining security at football matches across the country. He also pledged the Service’s support for due process in addressing issues linked to safety and discipline within the sport.

The renewed cooperation between the FA and the Police Service is expected to strengthen security arrangements at football venues and enhance confidence among clubs, players and fans.
