After a six-year absence from the music scene, celebrated Ghanaian radio and television personality Jon Germain is making his much-anticipated return with a brand new single titled “DEEP,” set to drop on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

The R&B track, produced by AcousticMusik, marks Germain’s first musical offering since his “Open Up” release six years ago and serves as the lead single from his forthcoming mixtape “AURA.”

According to sources close to the artist, “DEEP” was recorded over a year ago, suggesting a carefully crafted and deliberate approach to his musical comeback.

For over 25 years, Jon Germain has been a fixture in Ghana’s media landscape, carving out a reputation as one of the country’s most charismatic and stylish personalities.

His impressive career has seen him grace the airwaves and screens of major media houses including Starr FM, Citi FM, Atlantis Radio and Metro TV, all based in Accra, where he has consistently captivated audiences with his engaging presence and undeniable charm.

But Germain’s talents extend far beyond broadcasting. As a songwriter and singer, he has built a devoted following that appreciates his introspective songwriting skills, distinctive vocal style, and remarkable versatility.

His fans have long admired not just his musical prowess, but also his impeccable fashion sense and good looks, which have made him a complete entertainer in every sense of the word.

Germain’s musical journey includes two critically acclaimed studio albums: “This Is Who I Am,” released in 2009, which featured the hit single “In My Head,” and “Enigma,” which followed in 2014.

Both projects showcased his ability to blend heartfelt lyrics with smooth R&B melodies, establishing him as a serious force in Ghana’s music industry.

As anticipation builds for the release of “DEEP” and the subsequent “AURA” mixtape, fans and industry watchers alike are eager to see what the multi-talented artist has in store.

If his track record is anything to go by, Jon Germain’s return to music promises to be as captivating as his enduring presence on Ghana’s airwaves.

“DEEP” will be available on all major streaming platforms starting February 28, 2026.
