Strikers in the ongoing 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League season are showcasing their goalscoring prowess after 22 matches played in the competition.

The race is tightly contested, with a narrow gap between players, meaning any of them could win depending on their performance in the remaining games.

Asante Kotoko striker, Albert Amoah currently leads the chart with 12 goals, hoping to propel his club to the league title with 12 games to end the season.

Nations FC’s Faisal Charwatey has also scored 12 goals.

The contest is even fiercer as Nana Kwame Oppong of Kpando Hearts of Lions and Joseph Esso of Dreams FC both sit just behind with 11 goals each.

Next is Samuel Attah Kumi of Bibiani Gold Stars FC, who has scored 10 goals, while Kotoko’s Kwame Poku follows closely with 9.

Kamaradini Mamudu of Medeama Sporting Club and Prince Tweneboah of Basake Holy Stars have netted 8 goals each, while Emmanuel Mamah of FC Samartex 1996 has scored 7.

An analysis of the chart shows a five-goal difference between the top scorer and the last player on the list, making the race even more intriguing.

With 12 matches left in the league, these players will be focused on scoring more goals to clinch the coveted award and gain recognition worldwide.
