“Ghana’s engagement in international scientific cooperation is reflected in its participation in multilateral initiatives, regional scientific networks, and global knowledge platforms,” she said.

According to her, Ghana’s involvement is driven by the need to elevate quantum science within global development conversations, especially for countries seeking to build scientific and technological capacity.

“Ghana supported the call for greater global attention to quantum science as an enabling tool with far-reaching implications for development, education, and technological transformation, particularly for developing countries fom two times we made among the most dynamic areas of research,” she said.

Here is why Ghana must invest in quantum science

Suweibatu Adam noted that quantum science has rapidly become one of the most active areas of scientific research, with implications that extend beyond theory into real-world applications.

“The advancement demonstrates how fundamental enquiry continues to inform technological progress. Development is influencing computer communication, material science, precision measurement, while raising important questions related to ethics and ethics for the science and technology ministry. This development underscores the importance of responsive research to them and supporting investment in scientific capacity,” she noted.
