An ‘armed and dangerous’ gunman was on the loose in Philadelphia after he allegedly shot dead two truck drivers in a bloody rampage.
Najee Williams, 27, is wanted in connection with two gruesome murders, both targeting tow truck drivers.
Williams is wanted for gunning down David Garcia‑Morales, 20, and Aaron Whitfield, 25, in separate incidents police believe stem from a twisted dispute within the tow truck industry.
In December 2025, police found Garcia‑Morales with gunshot wounds inside a towing vehicle.
The 20 year old was shot in the neck and thigh and rushed to the hospital, where he later died.
The suspect is also wanted in connection with a second fatal shooting that took place in January.
Whitfield was found inside a tow truck, riddled with gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim, a 21‑year‑old woman whose name was not released, was shot in the leg and rushed to the hospital in stable condition.

Commanding Officer of the Philadelphia Police Homicide Unit, Ernest Ransom, confirmed to NBC10 that ‘Williams was at both locations and committed both crimes.’
Police identified the gunman from surveillance footage showing him firing shots while driving past the vehicle.
Officers are examining whether the shootings are part of a larger dispute over towing.
A November murder investigation is also underway for possible links to Williams, who owns his own company NKW Towing & Recovery LLC.
‘We believe there’s some kind of connection there. We’re not ready to go on record to say this is a part of that homicide, but we are working towards that direction,’ Ransom added.
Williams is also wanted for violating the Uniform Firearms Act, conspiracy, possessing criminal instruments, and recklessly endangering others.
Garcia-Morales is remembered for his ‘social nature and amazing personality,’ his obituary reads.
‘[Garcia-Morales] was a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend… bringing light and laughter wherever he went.
‘[He] cared deeply about everyone and had a genuine heart that touched all who knew him.
‘His kindness, warmth, and ability to connect with others will never be forgotten,’ it added.

Whitfield’s family created a GoFundMe in honor of his ‘life and memory,’ which has raised $10,531 of their $11,000 goal, as of Sunday.
‘[Whitfield] was a playful, hardworking individual who was loved dearly,’ it stated.
‘For Aaron to be murdered on the streets of Philadelphia while he was working, it’s unbelievable. It’s not fair. It’s not fair,’ Whitfield’s mother, Kimberly Randleman, told the outlet.
