Renowned gospel artistes, including Mz Nana, Diana Hamilton, and Rev Obaapa Christy, led powerful worship sessions as family, friends and admirers gathered to celebrate the life of Rosemond Owusu Boadi, Chief Executive Officer of the Eno Baatanpa Foundation, at her final funeral rites.

The gospel stars blended the solemn reflection with thanksgiving, as mourners honoured a woman widely regarded as a pillar of Christian service and philanthropy in Ghana.

A major highlight of the funeral rites was the ministration by leading gospel musicians, whose songs brought solace and spiritual reassurance to mourners.

Mz Nana, daughter-in-law of the late Owusu Boadi, led worship alongside Diana Hamilton and Rev Obaapa Christy, ushering the congregation into moments of deep reflection, praise and renewed faith in the Christian hope of resurrection.

Their presence transformed the atmosphere into one of worship and thanksgiving, reinforcing the message of hope that defined Mrs. Owusu Boadi’s life and ministry.

Tributes from family members, clergy, traditional leaders, executives of the Eno Baatanpa Foundation and beneficiaries of its projects painted a compelling portrait of a visionary leader marked by humility and generosity.

Speakers highlighted her unwavering commitment to community development, Christian values, and humanitarian outreach, noting that her work impacted countless lives across the country.

The celebration concluded with a final interment and thanksgiving service, during which prayers were offered for the peaceful repose of her soul and strength for the bereaved family.

Owusu Boadi, a native of Asamankese in the Lower West Akim District, passed away on July 23, 2025.

Her death was met with an outpouring of grief from Ghana’s philanthropic, faith-based and humanitarian circles, where she was celebrated for her compassion and tireless dedication to uplifting the vulnerable.
