Eric Amewuwo, a 16-year-old Form Three student at Baglo Ridge Senior High Technical School in the Oti Region, is drawing attention for his calm demeanor in the face of a unique challenge, his short stature.

In a video shared on X on February 1, 2026, Eric candidly explained how his height often causes younger children to mistake him for one of their classmates during interviews.

Rather than being bothered by the mix-up, Eric takes it in stride, embracing the humour in the situation.

“Children see me as their mate and that’s okay with me,” he said with a warm smile.

The heartwarming story has captured the attention of many online.

“I feel normal because they are unaware of the class I’m in or my age but my peers treat me as their colleague since they know,” he added.

Eric’s ability to remain unfazed by the occasional confusion reflects a level of maturity beyond his years.

He prioritises his education, noting, “Despite these mix-ups, I remain calm and focus on my studies.”

In the video, his laid-back attitude and positive outlook resonate with many, proving that determination and self-acceptance can shine in any circumstance.
