    The Bono East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ibrahim Baba Bukari, popularly known as “Game Changer,” has congratulated Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on his victory in the NPP Presidential Primaries held on Friday, January 31, 2026.

    In a congratulatory message issued shortly after the declaration of the results, Bukari described Dr Bawumia’s victory as a clear endorsement of his leadership, vision and commitment to the development of Ghana.

    “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on his well-deserved victory in today’s presidential primaries.

    “This win reflects the confidence party delegates have in his vision, competence and dedication to the progress of our great party and nation,” he stated.

    The Bono East Regional Chairman further called on all members of the New Patriotic Party to put aside any differences arising from the primaries and unite behind the party’s flagbearer to ensure victory in the upcoming general elections.

    “Now is the time for unity and collective effort. I urge all party members, supporters and stakeholders to close ranks, support Dr. Bawumia, and work together to secure victory for the NPP,” Bukari emphasised.

    He also assured Dr Bawumia of the unwavering support of the Bono East Region, pledging the region’s commitment to working diligently to advance the party’s agenda.

    “The Bono East Region stands firmly behind Dr Bawumia. We are ready to contribute our quota to ensure the NPP remains focused and victorious,” he added.
