Popular Ghanaian YouTuber and travel vlogger, Wode Maya, has revealed that American streamer IShowSpeed was disappointed during his recent visit to Ghana due to overwhelming crowds and leaked schedules that ruined planned surprises.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Bola Ray on GHOne TV’s Starr Chat, Wode Maya, who was reviewing IShowSpeed’s tour of parts of Accra and the Eastern Region, said the streamer was unhappy with the public announcements surrounding the streamer’s itinerary.

“Me personally, I wasn’t happy with how things were put out about where and when we would be at places. It was so wrong. By the time we got to Akropong, the place was crowded, so the goal we wanted to achieve there, we couldn’t because people had surrounded the place.”

“I’m not going to lie, he (IShowSpeed) wasn’t happy. So many things were cancelled because he wanted to do things that surprise the people. But everybody already knew what he was about to do. So, I think that’s where we had to do better,” he said.

Wode Maya added that Speed skipped scripted meetings with influencers and brands, preferring raw encounters with everyday Ghanaians to truly experience the culture.
