IShowSpeed streamed live in Ghana on January 26, 2026
American streamer and YouTuber IShowSpeed, before wrapping up his African tour aimed at showcasing the continent’s cultural diversity, made a stop in Ghana on January 26, 2026.
During his visit, the 21-year-old American streamer had a number of memorable experiences in Ghana, but it has emerged that he had more activities planned that did not materialise.
Despite the excitement surrounding his Ghana tour, experiencing massage at a waterfall, car stunts, learning about Ghanaian history, among others, details have surfaced indicating that several planned stops had to be cancelled due to time constraints.
The Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Abeiku Santana, in an interview on Okay FM on January 27, 2026, said IShowSpeed was supposed to visit the GoldBod Jewellery, Despite Automobile Museum, Reggie Rockstone’s Rockz Waakye, the Osu Night Market, and Republic Bar, but those had to be scrapped due to limited time and huge crowds that were following him.

“He was supposed to see Reggie Rockstone, and go to the Despite Automobile Museum. However, how things worked out yesterday, he couldn’t visit some of the planned places. Republic Bar, Osu Night Market, Goldbod Jewellery, etc. They were all part of the itinerary, but he couldn’t visit them all,” he said.
Speed began his livestream in Ghana with a trip to Akropong Akuapem, where he received a massage at the Asenema Waterfalls before visiting the King’s Palace, where a customary ceremony was performed and he was bestowed with the name Barima Kofi Akuffo.
He later made his way to the Black Star Square, where he performed a backflip on the Black Star, tasted Ghanaian jollof, experienced car stunts, and then proceeded to the Kwame Nkrumah Museum to learn about the history of Ghana.
