A woman’s raw grief over her brother’s loss has caught the attention of many online users, in what has quickly become a viral video shared via X.

The video was taken during the ongoing demolition exercise taking place along the Teshie Bush Road, where NADMO and military officers are removing unauthorised structures encroaching on the lagoon.

In the video, the woman is heard lamenting, stating that “They could have at least left the container for him to use,” even as she expressed devastation at the plight that had befallen them.

The video captured the aftermath of the demolition, showing the woman surveying the wreckage of what was once her brother’s home.

With tears strolling down her face as she recounted her ordeal, she tried to salvage the few possessions left of the wreckage.

“They could have at least left the container for him to use,” she sobbed.

This demolition, aimed at reducing flood risks, has left many residents displaced and their homes destroyed.
