A man screamed at police as he was hauled out of Detroit Metro Airport after crashing through the check-in area.
The crash happened around 7:30pm local time on Friday, according to airport officials.
Video of the aftermath showed the car had come to rest inside the McNamara Terminal, the largest terminal at the airport.
A witness who spoke to WXYZ-TV said they heard a loud noise as the car plowed through the entrance and slammed into a Delta Air Lines counter.
Footage also emerged on social media which showed a man exiting the vehicle and yelling, it remains unclear what he said.
Police and TSA agents responded to the situation quickly, bystanders said. The man, who was wearing a black Detroit Lions jersey, was taken into custody by a horde of officers.

‘The response was so quick thank God with the cops and TSA and everybody,’ Ali Khalifa, who was traveling and saw the incident, told WXYZ-TV. ‘That all happened in seconds.’
Six people were treated at the scene by firefighters with the Wayne County Airport Authority Fire Department.
Delta Air Lines told CBS News that no injuries were reported, though three of its employees were checked out by emergency personnel after coming in contact with debris from the crash.
There is no definitive cause for the crash yet. The name of the driver also has not been released.
Videos posted to social media showed the doors where the car entered the airport.
The damage to the entrance was considerable, with metal door frames and glass shards covering the floor.
Firefighters were on the scene as well. They treated six individuals, according to the Wayne County Airport Authority

In a statement, Wayne County Airport Authority said: ‘The Wayne County Airport Authority (WCAA) Police Department is currently investigating a vehicle that drove into the entrance of the McNamara Terminal at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) hitting a ticket counter.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 this evening. The driver is in custody and the cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
The WCAA Fire Department treated six people at the scene. We’ll provide more information as it becomes available.
Detroit Metro Airport officials told WDIV: ‘Our team is gathering information, and we hope to have an update shortly.’
