Barcelona Head Coach Hansi Flick Barcelona Head Coach Hansi Flick

Barcelona Head Coach Hansi Flick has urged calm after midfield maestro Pedri picked up an injury, admitting that the full extent of the setback is still unknown.

Speaking after the incident, Flick struck a composed tone but offered little clarity on the severity of the injury.

“It is what it is. Sometimes it happens. We don’t know how bad it is yet,” Hansi Flick said, as medical staff continue their assessment.

Pedri, widely regarded as the heartbeat of Barcelona’s midfield, has struggled with injury interruptions in recent seasons, making the latest scare a worrying moment for both club and country.

His ability to dictate play, control tempo and unlock defenses has made him indispensable in Flick’s system.

For now, Barcelona fans are left holding their breaths as tests are expected to determine whether the setback is minor or could sideline the Spanish international for a longer period.

This is also ahead of some crucial fixtures th club has ahead.

Until then, Flick’s message is clear but all eyes remain firmly on Pedri’s recovery.
