Nigerian football legends Jay Jay Okocha and Nwankwo Kanu were full of praise for Ghanaian artiste Stonebwoy when they met him at a concert held in honor of Togolese football legend Emmanuel Adebayor in Togo.

Stonebwoy was one of the numerous artistes who performed for Adebayor during a concert in Togo on Saturday, October 26, 2024, ahead of his final farewell match on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

The Ghanaian musician met the two footballing legends after performing at the concert, and they both expressed huge admiration for him.

Jay Jay, who was meeting Stonebwoy for the first time, said he was blown away by his talent and commended him.

Okocha said, “You are too much. This is my first time seeing you, and you are blessed.”

Former Arsenal striker Nwankwo Kanu disclosed that he has met Stonebwoy at events in Ghana and remains a huge fan of the Ghanaian.

Emmanuel Adebayor’s retirement event was graced by a number of African football legends, including Emmanuel Eboue, Salomon Kalou, Asamoah Gyan, and El Hadji Diouf.

Emmanuel Adebayor, who scored 32 goals in 85 games for his country, finished his career in his homeland at Semassi.

Only three African players have scored more Premier League goals than Adebayor’s 97: Chelsea’s Didier Drogba (104), former Liverpool and Southampton winger Sadio Mane (111), and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah (131).

Emmanuel Adebayor played for Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Tottenham, and a host of clubs in Europe.
