London is set to pulse with Ghanaian rhythm and pride this March as the Nkyinkyim Band headlines a special Ghana Independence celebration in the United Kingdom.

The live music event, titled “Ghana Independence UK with Nkyinkyim Band,” promises an energetic night of Afro-fusion, highlife and contemporary Ghanaian sounds, bringing together culture, music, and national pride.

The concert will take place on Friday, March 13, 2026, at The Royal Regency in East London.

Activities are scheduled to begin promptly at 8:00 p.m.

The venue, located at 501 High Street North, E16 6TH, is expected to attract a vibrant mix of music lovers and members of the Ghanaian diaspora, all coming together to celebrate Ghana’s independence in style.

Renowned for their electrifying live performances and seamless blend of traditional and modern African music, the Nkyinkyim Band will lead the celebration with a performance that showcases Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and creative energy.

Organisers emphasise that the event is more than just a music show. It is designed as a cultural gathering aimed at celebrating Ghana’s independence, heritage and global influence through music and performance.

As Ghana’s Independence season continues to be marked across the globe, London’s celebration featuring the Nkyinkyim Band is shaping up to be one of the standout cultural events of the season.
