    Happy New Year From Fightnews!

Happy New Year, Fightnews readers! The boxing world underwent many changes in 2025 and will likely continue to do so in 2026. By now, we’re sure you’ve all noticed that Fightnews.com has itself undergone some changes.
Our intrepid founder decided to “hang up the gloves,” so to speak, after 26+ years. Those of us diehards on the Fightnews staff are forever indebted to him. Well earned, Karl! His vision led the way for many budding writers and photographers, as well as established hall-of-famers, to cut their teeth and contribute, documenting the goings-on in the sport of boxing, a sport we all love.

We will strive to continue providing daily updates on the news in not only boxing but also other combat sports, such as MMA and BKB (Bare Knuckle Boxing). This will not limit our boxing coverage but merely supplement it with other combat sports coverage. We hope you’ll continue your dedicated readership while we continue to grow and return to our respected status as the leader in boxing coverage on the web.
While our new look is one obvious change, we have other improvements in store for the early months of 2026. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated.
Thank you for being in our corner!
