Following Anderson Silva’s dominating performance over Tyron Woodley, there were a couple of callouts around the ring.
First, Silva called out Chris Weidman, the man he was unable to defeat in two head-to-head UFC matchups.
The two were scheduled to box as a part of the Jake Paul-Tank Davis card, but when that was scrapped the Silva-Weidman bout was as well.
But another former UFC champ, Yoel Romero, said Silva called out the wrong guy. Romero’s been dabbling in boxing over the past year and now he wants a shot at The Spider.
Of course, Romero defeated Silva at UFC 187, so a victory against either of these guys in any sport would be a first.
SportsBetting.ag has opened odds for both of these potential boxing matches, and Silva is favored in both.
