After the hustle and bustle of the year, Corona Extra Beer has marked the fourth anniversary of its Corona Sunset event in Ghana with a vibrant beachside celebration at the Bella Afrikana Beach Resort in Accra.

Held on December 13, 2025, as part of the annual “Detty December” festivities, the event offered patrons an opportunity to unwind after a busy year, blending music, leisure and outdoor activities against the backdrop of a scenic sunset.

The Corona Sunset is part of a global platform by Corona that celebrates the beauty and relaxation of sunset moments across different countries.

Speaking to GhanaWeb ahead of the event, the manager of Bella Afrikana Beach Resort, Executive Chef Claudio, said the goal was to create a free-spirited and enjoyable environment for guests.

“The expectation is that people come and have a fantastic time and go all out. We provide fun environments where people can be themselves, feel at ease, and have a great time. We are essentially venue providers and good vibes,” the manager noted.

The event featured a range of activities, including calcetto, an Italian-style football game, volleyball tournaments, horse riding, swimming, food experiences, and dancing, all adding to the overall festive atmosphere.

On safety, the resort manager assured guests that adequate measures were in place to ensure a secure event.

“It’s extremely safe; everything is under control,” he said.

Updates and visuals from the event are available on the Bella Afrikana Beach Resort’s Instagram and Facebook pages.
