    It’s obvious that December in Ghana, also known as ‘Detty December’ cannot be compared to anywhere else in the world.

    During the festive season, Ghanaians in the diaspora and visitors from other countries travel to Ghana purposely for its much-anticipated concerts and vibrant tourist sites.

    This year is no different, as the 2025 lineup of events promises to thrill revelers from across the world.

    Check out some of the most anticipated ‘Detty December’ events for 2025:

    December 13, 2025

    Beyond Kontrol Concert – Medikal

    The festive concert lineup begins with Ghanaian rapper Medikal’s Beyond Kontrol Concert on December 13, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

    CinCity – Cina Soul

    Also on December 13, Cina Soul will host her CinCity concert at the Polo Beach Club.

    The event will feature performances by Ghanaian artistes such as Mr Drew, KiDi, and others.

    Revival Concert – Kwaku Smoke

    Promising rapper Kwaku Smoke will take over Accra with his Revival Concert at Ghud Park.

    Known for his storytelling rap and unique talent, he will be supported by several A-list artistes.

    December 19, 2025

    GT Bank Concert

    GT Bank will stage another major concert at the Accra Sports Stadium on December 19.

    The event will feature both Ghanaian and Nigerian artistes such as Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Fireboy DML, Ayra Starr, and others.

    December 20, 2025

    Made in Taadi – Kofi Kinaata

    Kofi Kinaata will host his annual Made in Taadi concert in Takoradi.

    Nimo Live – AratheJay

    On the same day, AratheJay will celebrate his Odyssey album with the Nimo Live Concert at Alliance Française in Accra.

    Zaama Disco – Black Sherif

    On December 21, the man of the moment, Black Sherif, will electrify the University of Ghana Sports Stadium with his Zaama Disco concert.

    Fans can expect unmatched energy and creativity as he performs his hit songs.

    Likor on the Beach – KiDi

    Ghana’s “youngest Sugar Daddy,” KiDi, will host his annual Likor on the Beach concert at the Polo Beach Club. The show will feature performances from other top artistes.

    December 24, 2025

    This day is dedicated to Dancehall and Reggae lovers as Stonebwoy and Samini mount stages at the heart of Accra.

    Bhim Festival – Stonebwoy

    Stonebwoy will hold his signature Bhim Festival at the Accra Sports Stadium.

    Samini Experience – Samini

    Samini will also treat fans to Highlife and Reggae vibes at Laboma Beach.

    Rapperholic – Sarkodie

    On Christmas Day, rapper Sarkodie will thrill fans with his annual Rapperholic Concert at the Grand Arena in Accra.
