Akatsi North, Volta Region – The Ave-Dakpa Health Center has received a significant boost in its medical equipment and supplies, thanks to a generous donation by Hon. Bless Kojo Katamani, DCE of Akatsi North, and Hon. MP Peter Nortsu-Kotoe on Monday, 8th December, 2025.

The donation, made in the company of NDC Constituency Chairman Dr. Richard Awudza and executives, includes several medical equipment and usables aimed at enhancing healthcare services in the district. The items are expected to support the health center’s operations, benefiting the community and surrounding areas.

Hon. Katamani stated that the donation is part of efforts to improve healthcare delivery, saying, “We are committed to supporting our health facilities to provide quality care to our people. This donation is a testament to our dedication to the health and wellbeing of our constituents.”

The facility’s staff welcomed the donation, noting it will improve their ability to provide medical care to patients. “This donation is timely and will go a long way in enhancing our services,” said a health official.

This gesture demonstrates the DCE and MP’s commitment to healthcare development in Akatsi North, and is expected to have a positive impact on the community. The people of Akatsi North have expressed their gratitude to Hon. Katamani and Hon. Nortsu-Kotoe for their continued support to the district’s development.
