Legendary Ghanaian gospel musician, Mama Esther, has shared memories of renowned singer Maame Tiwaa following her demise.

In a video shared on Instagram on December 8, 2025, Mama Esther noted that the late gospel musician profoundly touched lives with her impactful songs.

According to her, she admired Maame Tiwaa’s creativity and the wisdom she often included in her music, adding a prayer for her soul to rest in peace.

“May the Lord keep her in His bosom, and may her good works remain with us forever. I love her songs because anytime she lends her voice to them, they touch my soul. All her songs with Yaw Sarpong are meaningful and heartfelt,” she said.

Mama Esther also recounted her last encounter with Maame Tiwaa.

She revealed that they met at the final burial ceremony of Rev Obofour’s mother, a moment where she enjoyed the late musician’s company.

“The last time we met was at Rev Obofour’s mother’s burial. We danced together, and it was clear she liked me. I liked her too. I am even going to look for that particular video. I have been sad all day after hearing the news,” she added.
