Black Queens forward Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah starred for Nottingham Forest Women on Sunday, scoring a brace to lead her side to a 3-1 victory over Sunderland Women in the Women’s Super League 2.

The 30-year-old started the Round 10 fixture and played the full duration of the contest.

In the entertaining encounter at the City Ground, Boye-Hlorkah opened the scoring in the 19th minute after being set up by defender Chloe Mustaki.

Forest doubled their advantage in the 31st minute through Aimee Claypole, ensuring a comfortable lead at the break.

After the restart, Sunderland Women put up a fight and halved the deficit in the 69th minute when Emily Scarr pulled one back.

However, that was the closest the visitors came, as Nottingham Forest quickly regained control.

In the 87th minute, Boye-Hlorkah scored her second of the afternoon, sealing a 3-1 triumph and all three points for Forest.

Her brace takes her tally to four goals in 10 appearances this season.
