Prophet Roja says this will come about from an amendment in Parliament
Popular Ghanaian preacher, Samuel Henry, popularly known as Prophet Roja, has claimed that President John Dramani Mahama will make it to a historic third term in Ghana as Head of State.
He explained this this will come about as a result of an amendment of a certain law in Parliament in 2026, paving the way for the president to stay in power for another term.
This is, however, against the existing provision in the 1992 Constitution of Ghana that does not allow anyone to serve more than two terms in office as President of Ghana.
According to him, this revelation came from ‘the realm of the spirit.’
Explaining himself during an interview in the Angel FM studios, which was captured in a video snippet shared online, Prophet Roja said he found himself inside Ghana’s Parliament and overheard deliberations about an upcoming legislative change.
“Parliament will make an amendment to a law that will ensure that an existing arrangement remains… I have seen it that President Mahama will go for a third term, and he will win it,” Prophet Roja declared.

He further stated that the communication he saw in the spiritual realm indicated that the process would unfold into 2026, eventually impacting the 2028 general elections.
According to him, the political landscape after the 2028 polls would remain unchanged from what the country currently has.
Prophet Roja is known among his followers for making predictions about national events, although his claims often spark debates among citizens, political analysts, and religious commentators.

There has, however, been no official indication from Parliament about any such legislative or constitutional amendment, even as Ghana’s current constitution expressly limits presidents to two four-year terms.
Any amendment to that provision would require significant legal and political processes, including a national referendum.
