Former Black Stars midfielder, Stephen Appiah has visited his former club, Fenerbahçe.

On Monday, December 1, 2025, the legendary Ghanaian midfielder shared an Instagram post announcing his visit to Fenerbahçe.

His caption was simple yet loaded with meaning: “It is always good to be back home.”

The visit was far more than a casual stop. Appiah reunited with his former teammates in an emotional gathering at the stadium and the Fenerbahçe Museum, a place that holds the memories of every triumph, heartbreak, and historic moment the club has lived through.

He wasn’t alone. He shared the moment with some of the club’s greatest figures: Rüştü Reçber, Tuncay Şanlı, Gökhan Gönül, Elvir Bolić and several others.

Together, they laughed, reminisced, and revisited the stories that once made the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium thunder with passion. The nostalgia in the photos he posted captured more than a reunion; it captured a bond that time has never weakened.

Appiah remains one of the most adored foreign players ever to wear the yellow and navy.

His leadership, his commitment, and the fire he played with made him not just a footballer, but a symbol of pride for the club.
