A Nigerian man known as MC Trekkers has ignited heated debate after making a controversial statement about women and their marriage.

In a post shared on his Facebook page, the master of ceremony stated that “80% of women who know their rights are not in their husbands house today.”

While some concurred with his view, others argued he was trying to condition women into being spineless, docile wives who would be totally controlled by their erring husbands.

They fault the reasoning of some men who idealizes wives to be tolerant of their dirty characters and accept all in the name of keeping their marriages.

Imam Hussein: Na so my brother

Izzy’s Makeover: So it means drastically that women have no right or shouldn’t know right ?

McKenzy RichieRich: And men who are happy in their marriage seen as been controlled by their wives.

Rihanat Ahmed: Uhmm, I know my Right. I can’t allow my husband to deny me my fundamental human rights in name of marriage, Z better to be a free woman that remains in bondage call marriage, Nt every man has fear of God and conscience
