A new poll conducted by Global InfoAnalytics within the last three months has shown that Ghanaians have high approval rate of President John Dramani Mahama, with 66% of voters expressing satisfaction with his performance so far.

The survey indicated that many people have confidence in his leadership as he navigates the country’s economic and governance challenges.

According to the poll, only 23% of respondents disapprove of Mahama’s handling of his responsibilities, indicating a relatively low level of dissatisfaction.

Meanwhile, 11% of voters remained neutral, stating that they had no opinion on his performance.

Executive Director and Lead Researcher of Global InfoAnalytics, Mussa Dankwah, suggested in an interview that maintaining this momentum will be crucial in sustaining public trust and ensuring continued support for Mahama’s administration’s policies.

However, the poll showed that the Ashanti Region was the only region not impressed with the president’s performance so far, with all other regions optimistic of good governance.

The poll showed that 62% of Ghanaians believes the country was in the right direction, with only 26% disapproving the narrative and 17% with no opinion about the direction of the country.
