A 56-year-old man named Opanyin Kwesi Ewudzie has sustained knife wounds at a village near Agona Bobikuma.

The incident allegedly occurred on Friday around 6:00 AM when he tried to separate a fight between two lovers in a bush.

According to an eyewitness, he was later seen bleeding heavily and was rushed to the Bobikuma clinic for treatment.

Due to the seriousness of his condition, he has been referred to the Agona Swedru Municipal Hospital for proper treatment.

Oheneba Ademah, who reported the story on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, said the victim was on his farm when he heard an unusual noise and went to investigate.

When he arrived, he noticed another man inflicting knife wounds on the wife and attempted to intervene, but the attacker reportedly pounced on him and caused knife wounds on his head and other parts of his body.

The police are presently searching for the culprit, who reportedly assaulted the wife and the person who attempted to assist.
