Three individuals have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service following chaotic scenes and disturbances at the Celebrity Golf Club at Sakumono, a suburb of Accra, the nation’s capital, on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

According to GHOne TV, the gunmen allegedly caused mayhem and threatened golfers present.

A video of the incident shared by the media house showed people running for their lives as the guns were fired.

One of the men was seen shooting at people on the other side of the golf club.

As he was firing the shots, some onlookers were heard urging him to stop, saying, “We dey here oo.”

But the shots kept coming, with the man firing at one point retreating.

However, some more well-built men joined him, and together, they walked in the direction he was firing the gun.

In response, the police said it has launched investigations into the shooting incident.

In a statement on X, dated Sunday, October 19, 2025, the police indicated that efforts are underway to arrest more individuals involved in the shooting incident, in addition to the initial three taken into custody.

“The Accra Regional Police Command has commenced investigations into a shooting incident that occurred yesterday, 18th October 2025, at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono, Accra.
