Sunday’s derby promises intensity, urgency and high stakes Sunday’s derby promises intensity, urgency and high stakes

Bechem United will lock horns with Young Apostles FC in a fierce regional derby on Sunday February 15, 2026, afternoon at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in matchday 22 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Hunters appear to be rediscovering their rhythm at a crucial stage of the season.

They have suffered just one defeat in their last five league matches, recording three wins and a draw in that run.

Even more impressive is their formidable home form. Bechem have won each of their last five matches at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park without conceding a single goal, turning their home ground into a fortress.

Despite that resurgence, they remain only three points above the bottom three, meaning there is little margin for complacency.

Another victory would significantly ease the pressure and strengthen their bid to avoid being dragged deeper into the relegation battle.

Apostles, meanwhile, have seen their early spark fade. They have managed just one win in their last seven league outings and are themselves only three points clear of the drop zone.

Their struggles on the road remain a major concern, with just one win in 20 away fixtures.

With both sides desperate for breathing space, Sunday’s derby promises intensity, urgency and high stakes.
