Bernard Mornah and the People's National Convention have endorsed NDC Bernard Mornah and the People’s National Convention have endorsed NDC

The 2024 Presidential Candidate for the People’s National Congress, Bernard Mornah, has provided details on what influenced their decision to endorse the National Democratic Congress in the upcoming December 7 polls.

Speaking to the media at the NDC’s campaign event in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, Mornah explained that the NDC’s policies highlight and represents change, contrary to the policies of the other contesting political parties.

Additionally, he stated that the two parties have similar policies and shared interests, making them compatible and capable of working together for the benefit of the citizens.

“We were looking at change and we did not see that the NPP represent any change. In fact, the NPP have ravaged and devastated our economy, destroyed our environment, jobs and livelihood for the people of Ghana. Looking around our policies and the NDC’s policies are virtually similar,” he said.

He added, “I protested against the introduction of the Electronic Transfer Levy and John Mahama has made it clear that he is coming to abolish it and therefore you can see there is some compatibility within the PNC and the NDC policies. That is why we want the change and we feel that they are more opportune to bring about the needed change to the people of Ghana.”

Meanwhile, the Ghana Freedom Party has also endorsed and expressed their support for the National Democratic Congress and John Dramani Mahama.
