Ghanaian media personality Bridget Otoo has thrown shade at Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia over the current economic hardships in the country.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the outspoken journalist raised concerns about the flagbearer’s recent statement regarding policies implemented by the Akufo-Addo administration.

According to her, Dr. Bawumia shouldn’t distance himself from the policies implemented under the Akufo-Addo administration since he is also part of the sitting government.

“If you run away from the President’s record, it’s an admission of failure that you, as vice president, were a part of.

“So why should anyone give you a chance to continue failing?” she queried on X.

Her latest comment comes as Ghana prepares to head to the polls on December 7, 2024.

As the date approaches, political campaigns have been intensified with politicians using different strategies to woo electorates.

So why should anyone give you a chance to continue failing?
