The Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Austin Eguavoen, has expressed confidence that the Super Eagles B will defeat Ghana’s Black Galaxies in the return leg of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The match will take place on Saturday, December 28, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, with Nigeria aiming for a win after holding Ghana to a 0-0 draw in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday.

Ahead of the crucial clash, Eguavoen voiced his full support for the team, declaring his belief in their ability to secure a victory.

“I am 100% sure that this time we will turn things around,” he told Kennis FM. “I am confident we will qualify for CHAN.”

He also praised the team’s readiness and determination, adding, “The boys are ready and determined to deliver as they promised. All we need now is a bit of luck.”

The match is set to kick off at 16:00 GMT.
