Nations FC climbed to second place in the league standings after a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Karela United in Nalerigu on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

Forward Faisal Charwetey scored the decisive goal, marking his fifth of the season and making him the joint-top scorer in the league.

Nations executed a disciplined game plan that kept Karela at bay, frustrating their opponents who struggled to penetrate Nations’ solid defence.

Charwetey’s strike proved enough to secure a crucial away win that strengthened Nations’ position in the table.

Looking ahead, Nations FC will aim to build on this momentum as they prepare to host Nsoatreman next week, while Karela, sitting 12th, will face Aduana FC in their upcoming match.
