At least two members of the Believers Worship Centre (Second Chance) have reportedly died in a road crash on the Assin Fosu–Kumasi Highway.

According to a report by citinewsroom.com, the incident occurred when the bus carrying members of Second Chance from Assin Fosu and Breman Asikuma, returning from the church’s mega 31st Night crossover service in Kumasi, crashed.

The report indicated that the crash happened when the bus collided with a crowd participating in a street parade at Assin Dansame.

It stated that the deceased were a 21-year-old apprentice and a student of Sunyani Technical University identified as Maame Yaa, and one other person, who both reportedly died on the spot.

Aside from the two deceased, 21 others sustained various degrees of injury and were rushed to different hospitals across the Central Region for medical attention.

The report also indicated that the Central North Regional MTTD Commander, ASP Wonder Lumor, confirmed the incident.
