In an emotional video, a female corp member salutes her parents after fulfilling their dream of donning the NYSC uniform, a promise she made 15 years prior.
The lady @orevaogheneh shared a video of herself marching toward her parents with her mother’s wrappers laid on the ground to welcome her in grand style.
“15 years ago🥹i said to my mum”i will make sure i wear this cloth”. I made her dream come true,she really wanted to see me in this outfit ❤️proud parents❤️ had so much to say but got so emotional and forgot everything 😂 including how to salute,this is the best I could do🙂↔️evidence of not joining parade in camp😂.”
Her mother has always anticipated seeing her in the NYSC uniform and she was filled with joy in bringing her parent’s dream to life.
Overwhelmed by emotions, she mentioned that she forgot the heartwarming words she had rehearsed to tell her parents and how to salute properly because she refused to join the parade at the NYSC orientation camp.
