An 11-year-old girl gets pregnant for a man after her father used her as settlement for a debt he could not pay.
According to the story, the girl had gone for antenatal at a hospital. She was asked her age and she said she was 17.
The healthcare workers had to press on seeing that clearly she wasn’t 17.
She confesses, and tells them that the man who brought her was actually the one who impregnated her.
They lure the man in and got him apprehended by the Police.
Later, they get informed that the girl’s father had gone to bail the man in question. Stating that he gave her to the man as debt settlement of the money he borrowed but couldn’t pay.

The guy was quick to get her pregnant and was also quick to realie the sh@me it will bring him if he had gone inside with her but was not quick to realize the the girl is a minor despite being used to offset debt. Should we blame religion or pov3rty in this?
