Family and friends are paying tribute to a Bundaberg teen who died after a horrific crash in Queensland.

Illiana Palella, 17,  was killed following a collision between an armoured vehicle and a car near Childers on Tuesday.

She was flown to Royal Brisbane Women’s hospital from the scene of the crash, but was unable to survive her injuries.

A fundraiser to support her has been launched to help support the victim’s family.

Her friend,  Mackenzie Blackburn, described Ms Palella as a ‘beautiful friend of many’.

‘Whether it be her colleagues, friends or strangers, everyone knew that she could put a smile on anybody’s face,’ she said.
