Woman dies after accidentally setting herself on fire in Western Australia
An elderly woman has lost her life after accidentally setting herself on fire at a bus stop in Western Australia.
It’s understood the 93-year-old woman was trying to light a cigarette at the bus stop when the unfortunate accident occurred last Friday, the West Australian reports.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Kenwick, southeast of Perth.
The woman suffered serious burns and was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital where she later died of her injuries.
